The Ring-shaped RFID tag for gas cylinder tracking, which is available in 125KHz or 13.56MHz, is a kind of the RFID Metal Tag Family. It can easily be installed on any cylinder shoulders either mechanically or by using industrial turnbuckle. The standard size is Internal Diameter 32mm, External Diameter 63mm and other sizes can be customerized.
Compare with active rfid tag, this read/write passive RFID Tag functions without a battery, thus with less ongoing maintenance. Integrated it into the RFID gas cylinder system, cylinders can thus be tracked throughout their lives, from the filling plant through the delivery cycle back to the owner and so on.
