Process:
3 winners of 3 different axes. extreme challenge of valuing one over another.
Not only valuing design, valuing a manifest social conscience. This caused a strong desire to award two Golden Nicas to Processing and Vote-Auction.
Continuing problem that many projects do not use the network, but are merely published on it, as expressed by previous juries. We felt that many entries could have equally existed on CDROM.
Diversity of networks: Internet, mobile phones and devices, land telephony, television and radio.
Diversity of formats and recombination of media.
Fatigue by dynamic rectangles within a browser or CDROM.
